The AP3 Monochrome Digital Address Printer combines user-friendly features with speed and versatility for quality on-demand printing. This mid-range unit utilizes dual print banks and processes up to 26,000 #10 envelopes an hour, with variable print resolutions up to 600 DPI, and the ability to print on UV coated stock.
Its 4.5” color touchscreen features an adjustable backlight, and allows users full control of functions, including the ability to store and recall common print jobs, up to 16GB. The integrated feeder holds up to 500 #10 envelopes at once, and can handle materials up to 3/8” thick. Two independent 1.5” print heads use 6 thermal inkjet cartridges simultaneously to produce an image area up to 3” x 17”, with available overlap, and can be adjusted to a maximum vertical print range of 11”. In addition, various inks are available to print on a wide range of stocks including coated and uncoated media.
Additional user-friendly features include on-screen ink monitoring for both percentage used and approximate pieces remaining, USB 3.0/LAN connectivity, the ability to print any TrueType font, spot color capability, and batch/job/lifetime counters. An optional 3-foot conveyor stacker is available for easy handling after printing.
